In 2020, during the COVID pandemic, Lorraine joined SDI as the VP of Human Resources focused on navigating this new landscape for employee relations. Underscoring SDI’s commitment to culture, one of Lorraine’s first goals was to improve employee engagement, a critical effort as many employees worked remotely. Those ventures encompassed upgraded benefits, the Best-in-Class program, the Preciate Peer Recognition platform, Care Packages, and various incentives like scratch-off cards.
