Drummond, Esq. as the company’s new General Counsel, where he will lead the organization’s legal strategy, risk management, corporate governance, compliance, and human resources functions.
Colin brings more than a decade of legal experience spanning both private practice and in-house leadership roles. Throughout his career, he has advised organizations on a broad range of legal matters, including labor and employment law, commercial contracts, litigation management, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, premises liability, and product liability.

Prior to joining SDI, Colin served as Associate General Counsel for Rivers Casino Philadelphia, where he managed all litigation matters, oversaw risk management and safety compliance programs, and provided legal counsel to senior leadership. In that role, he guided a wide range of commercial agreements and successfully reduced outside counsel expenses while strengthening the organization’s legal and compliance framework.
Before moving in-house, Colin built a successful litigation career with nationally recognized law firms, including Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith and Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin. His legal practice included complex construction, professional liability, transportation, product liability, labor, and commercial litigation matters. He also served as National Coordinating Counsel for major corporate clients, managing litigation strategies across multiple jurisdictions.

A graduate of Duquesne University, where he earned bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Communication Studies, Colin went on to earn his Juris Doctor from the Thomas R. Kline School of Law of Duquesne University. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Pennsylvania. He also serves as a Certified Arbitrator for the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas and remains active in professional and community organizations.
