Jason is in charge of Supply Chain Management for the NYC Department of Education, the largest school system in the United States. He manages sourcing, operations, I.T., government contracts, inventory and logistics for 1,800 buildings which serve the needs of 1.1 million students. His varied and extensive background in logistics was forged with global leaders of supply chain management: He was a Claims Analyst, Operations Manager and Sales Manager for Diageo, N.A, the largest manufacturer of Wine and Spirits in the World. He was the Director of Operations and Sales for AMC USA, the global freight forwarder for Hennessy. He was the Northeast U.S. Sales Manager for JF Hillebrand, the largest shipper of Wine and Spirits in the world. He is currently an Account Manager with SDI, a global leader in Third Party Supply Chain Management (SCM), specializing in Maintenance, Repairs and Operations (MRO). He has a strong operations, compliance and claims background. This unique skill set enables him to effectively manage client and colleague relationships while resolving complex and convoluted issues. He enjoys taking complex and confusing concepts and breaking them down into layman’s terms. He will always go the extra mile to assist his clients and colleagues.

Today's pace of change does not conform to yesterday's methods or business cultures. In this blog post, SDI explores the dynamics of internal colleagues as well as rapid changes in terms of market disruptions and technology advances. 

The project team has worked its way through Define, Measure, Analyze, and Improve. It’s time to begin the Control phase. The key stakeholders gather to evaluate the solution as implemented and create a plan to sustain the improvements. The goal is to standardize the improved processes, establish an audit schedule and schedule periodic follow-up to identify additional opportunities for improvement.
